I always always always have too many things going on to go to this. Which is horrible since it is one of the most amazing, simple, beautiful things about the new Portland, Oregon art scene.
For like the last 2 years? Almost every Monday night Portland State University’s Graduate Art Program has hosted FREE lectures by local and internationally renown artists and art groups.
Make no mistake- The lectures are freaking awesome. The work is always stellar and the lectures are packed. AND FREE. AND GOOD.
ALL ABOUT THE PMMNLS
Portland State University’s Art Department offers free public lectures every Monday night of the school year. The PSU MFA Monday Night Lecture Series is supported in part by PICA, Reed College, Lewis and Clark College, and The NW Film Center. If you or your organization are interested in becoming a supporter of the lecture series please let us know.
PMMNLS visiting artists are interviewed each Monday on Art Talk AM on the Radio: 12-1 PM. Find it at 98.3 FM on the PSU campus, streaming at KPSU.org and available at arttalkam.blogspot.com
OH YEAH…SO THERE IS A NEW LOCATION
